The hotel's decoration was charming and cozy, with beautiful wooden chalets and a breathtaking view of the mountains. The general areas were well maintained and easily accessible for senior people, making it convenient for us to move around and enjoy the surroundings.
It would have been even better if the children working there had some basic knowledge of English, as it would have made communication easier for us as senior guests.

I absolutely loved the rustic charm of the yurt I stayed in at Destination Ailleurs. The traditional Mongolian decor and cozy furnishings made me feel like I was in a little piece of heaven. The general areas of the hotel were beautifully maintained, with stunning views of the mountains. As a senior woman, I appreciate that the hotel was accessible, with easy navigation and an elevator to accommodate those with mobility issues.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the younger staff members. A bit more attention and care from the children working there would have made my vacation even more enjoyable.

The room at Destination Ailleurs is amazing! I felt like I was on top of the world with that breathtaking mountain view. And having a private bathroom with a bath or shower was such a luxury. The seating area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
Honestly, the only thing I didn't love was the view from the bathroom window. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking natural beauty. The Mongolian yurts provided a unique and comfortable experience, with real beds that ensured a good night's sleep for the whole family. The array of activities available, including cycling, fishing, and hiking, allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the stunning surroundings of the Verdon Regional Natural Park. We particularly enjoyed playing table tennis on the property, adding an element of friendly competition to our stay. The delicious meals prepared by Corrine using local produce were an absolute delight, especially when enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the picturesque landscape. We truly had an unforgettable and magical time at Destination Ailleurs.
For families with children, it would be great to have some designated play areas to further enhance the experience.

We got great value for our money at Destination Ailleurs! The yurt room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, perfect for our family of 4. The location was amazing, surrounded by nature and offering stunning views. The staff treated us with such kindness and made us feel like part of their family.
The breakfast could have been better, maybe by offering a wider variety of options.

We stayed in a unique circular tent nestled in a secluded location surrounded by nature. The yurt itself was surprisingly comfortable, with a proper double bed and cozy amenities like an electric-powered heater. The view from the yurt was breathtaking, with forests and mountains stretching out before us. We also had our own private bathroom and shower facilities, which were clean and well-maintained.
Getting to the hotel was quite a challenge, as it was located up a dirt track and required navigating a wiggly road. The remote location meant it was a 20-minute drive from the nearest town, which made it a bit inconvenient for accessing restaurants or other amenities.
